Product Care & Troubleshooting FAQs
How do I clean and care for my Beast® product?
We recommend washing your blender blade with warm soapy water and a brush after every use. The Blending Vessels, lids, caps, and other accessories are all top-rack dishwashwer safe. Do not put the blender base in the dishwasher.
For more detailed care instructions for each Beast® Blender, please refer to the user manual that came with your product. You can also download the user manual for your respective blender below.
What are the Blending Vessels made of?
Our Blending Vessels are made of BPA-free Tritan™.
Are Blending Vessels microwave safe?
No, Beast Health™ Vessels and accessories are not intended to be used in the microwave, which may result in damage to the accessories.
How often should I replace the blade?
We recommend replacing your blade every 6-12 months. To shop the blade compatible with your Beast® Blender, please visit this page.
Are all Beast Health products dishwasher safe?
Blending Vessels, Lids, Caps, and other accessories can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher. Do not wash the Blender Base in the dishwasher. We recommend cleaning your blender blade with warm soapy water and a brush after every use. All components of the Hydration Bottles can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher.
For more detailed care instructions, please refer to the user manual that came with your product. You can also download the user manual for your respective blender below.
What do the lights on the front of the unit mean?
When the indicator light is amber or orange, the unit is on but not properly assembled, and therefore not ready to blend. When the indicator light is white, the unit is properly assembled and ready to blend. When the unit is blending, the indicator light will be green. Do not disassemble the blender while the motor is running. If the indicator light is flashing orange, the motor is likely overloaded.
For more details on the indicator light, please refer to the user manual that came with your product. You can also download the user manual for your respective blender below.
Where can I find the user manual for my blender?
You should have received a user manual in the packaging your blender came in. Alternatively, you can download your blender's user manual from the links below:
Beast Health® Blender
Beast Blender Plus
Beast Blender Tonal
Beastmode Blender
Beast Mini Blender
Beast Mighty 850

Beast GO Cordless
Why isn’t my blender blending?
If the indicator light is off, please ensure the blender is plugged in and use the orange power switch to turn the unit on. If the indicator light is on, the color of the light will reflect the state of the blender. If the indicator light is amber or orange, the blender is detecting that the unit is not properly assembled.
Please confirm that the Blade is firmly threaded onto the Blending Vessel, and then confirm that the Blade and Vessel are securely connected to the Blender Base by twisting onto the base until it clicks into place. At this point the indicator light should be solid white, which means the unit is ready to blend.
Why am I having trouble removing the Blade from the Blending Vessel?
This can happen because blending creates pressure inside the Blending Vessel, particularly when the Blending Vessel is over-filled. Be careful not to over-fill your Blending Vessel, and mind the max fill line.
If you're having issues removing the blade from the vessel, please set it down, allow your blend to settle, and try a few minutes later. If you are facing this issue repeatedly, please consider purchasing our wrench that will give you additional leverage when assembling or dis-assembling the blade and Blending Vessel.
Why does my blender sound like it's laboring?
Your Blending Vessel may be overfilled, or Blending Vessel contents may be stuck. If your Blending Vessel is overfilled, try taking some ingredients out of your Vessel. If contents are stuck, try adding more liquid and/or giving it a good shake (not while attached to the Blender Base).
Why are my ingredients not fully blended?
The most common reasons that ingredients may not be fully blended are 1) lack of sufficient liquid and 2) an over-filled Blending Vessel.
For best results, we recommend that at least 1/3 of your ingredients are liquid. When filling your Blending Vessel, be mindful not to fill past the max fill line, and add your ingredients in the following order: 1) liquids 2) ice 3) fresh or frozen produce 4) leafy greens 5) powders, seeds, and nut butters.
Upon assembling the Blade and flipping the Blending Vessel, the heavy ingredients added first will weigh down the ingredients that were added last, and the ingredients added last will interact with the Blade first. We also recommend pulsing ingredients 2-3 times with fresh ingredients or 3-5 times with frozen ingredients before initiating a blend cycle.
My blender is stained, what should I do?
The Cloud White, Pebble Grey, and Sand colored components are susceptible to staining, and should not come in direct contact with ingredients prone to causing stains, such as turmeric, beets, carrots, or other bright-colored ingredients. If these ingredients do come in contact with your unit, we kindly recommend to immediately follow these cleaning instructions:
- Rinse the accessories under tap water using a soapy brush or sponge to clean.
- For a deeper wash, place Blending Vessels, Beast Performance Blade, and Drinking Lids + Carry Caps on the top rack of the dishwasher only. Dry the Beast Performance Blade on a drying rack.
Beast Blender FAQs
What’s the difference between the various blender models?
The main difference between our various models are the size, motor strength, and blending capacity (largest vessel size).
The original Beast Health® Blender (B10) measures approximately 4.9" across by 16" tall, features a 1000-watt motor, and comes with a 1000mL Blending Vessel, perfect for large single-serve blends.
The Beast Blender Plus (B10H) and Beast Blender Tonal (B10S) are different configurations of the Beast Health® Blender, and come with an additional 500mL Blending Vessel (perfect for dressings, sauces, and dips) and a matching daily Hydration Bottle (glass and steel, respectively).
The Beastmode Blender (B12) is a special edition collaboration with NFL legend, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Marshawn "Beastmode" Lynch. It is the same size as our original Beast Health Blender (4.9" x 16" with a 1000mL Blending Vessel), but features an extra-strong 1200-watt motor and comes in a special edition Forest Green color.
The Beast® Mini Blender (B6) measures approximately 4.1" across by 14" tall, and features a 600-watt motor. The largest Blending Vessel has a capacity of 640mL and is perfect for single-serve blends. The Beast® Mini Blender Plus (B6H) also comes with additional medium (530mL) and small (415mL) Blending Vessels which are well-suited for smaller-batch blends such as dressings, dips, or sauces, or other jobs in the kitchen like chopping and grinding dry ingredients.
The Beast® Mighty 850 (B85) is a compact personal blender, and is like the Beast® Mini on steroids. It is the same compact size (4.1" x 14") but features a supercharged 850-watt motor, and comes with an extra-large 785mL Blending Vessel for larger single-serve blends.
The Beast® Mega 1200 (B12M) is our latest full-sized countertop blender, and an upgrade to our original Beast® Health Blender (B10). It features a supercharged 1200-watt motor, as well a supersized 1200mL Blending Vessel which is excellent for family-sized or multi-serving blends. It also comes with our standard large 1000mL Blending Vessel, as well as a small 500mL Blending Vessel perfect for smaller servings or chopping and grinding dry ingredients.
In what order should I fill my Blending Vessel?
Add your preferred ingredients to the vessel in the following order for the best results:
- Liquids
- Ice
- Produce
- Leafy greens
- Powders, seeds, nuts, nut butters, honey
For more information, check out your “B10 Getting Started + The Perfect Blend Card” found in your User Manual that came with your shipped unit.
How do I pulse ingredients?
All of our Beast Blenders are operated with a single button. Press and release the button to pulse ingredients, or hold down the button for longer than one (1) second to initiate a 60-second blending cycle.
How do I make my blend extra smooth and creamy?
Certain ingredients will help give your blends a creamier texture, such as using your milk of choice instead of water, or adding ice, avocado, frozen cauliflower, frozen banana, or yogurt.
For best results, we recommend at least 1/3 of your ingredients should be liquid. When filling your Blending Vessel, be mindful not to fill past the max fill line, and add your ingredients in the following order:
- liquids
- Ice
- Fresh or frozen produce
- Leafy greens
- Powders, seeds, and nut butters. Upon assembling the Blade and flipping the Blending Vessel, the heavy ingredients added first will weigh down the ingredients that were added last, and the ingredients added last will interact with the Blade first. We also recommend pulsing ingredients 2-3 times before initiating a blend cycle.
How should I store my Beast Blender?
Straight up. On the counter.
Can I blend hot ingredients, particularly liquids, in my Beast Blender?
NEVER BLEND HOT INGREDIENTS.
Doing so may cause excessive steam and pressure to build up in the Vessel, resulting in the potential risk of the Vessel and Blender Base separating and thereby possibly resulting in personal injury and/or property damage.
For more details and information on which ingredients are safe to blend, and other safety warnings, please refer to the Safety Warnings in the user manual.
Can I blend carbonated ingredients or rising agents in the B10 Health Blender?
NEVER BLEND CARBONATED INGREDIENTS OR RISING AGENTS IN THE BEAST® BLENDER.
These ingredients incorporate air bubbles that produce foam and cause breads and cakes to rise. Blending these ingredients may cause excessive pressure buildup in the container and may cause personal injury to the user or property damage. Common leavening agents such as baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar, cultured or fermented ingredients, egg whites, salt of hartshorn, whey protein, sesa moss, and yeast should not be blended in the Beast® Blender.
For more details and information on which ingredients are safe to blend, and other safety warnings, please refer to the Safety Warnings in the user manual.
Why are my ingredients not blending well?
The most common reasons that ingredients may not be fully blended are 1) lack of sufficient liquid and 2) an over-filled Blending Vessel.
For best results, we recommend that at least 1/3 of your ingredients are liquid. When filling your Blending Vessel, be mindful not to fill past the max fill line, and add your ingredients in the following order:
- liquids
- Ice
- Fresh or frozen produce
- Leafy greens
- Powders, seeds, and nut butters. We also recommend pulsing ingredients 2-3 times with fresh ingredients or 3-5 times with frozen ingredients before initiating a blend cycle.
Can I fly with my Beast® Blender?
It is safe to bring your Beast® Blender on the plane with you, but the Blade must go in your checked luggage, as it cannot be packed in your carry-on luggage per TSA regulations.
Can I blend in my Stainless Steel or Glass Hydration Bottle?
No, our Hydration Bottles are not designed to fit with any of our Beast Blender Blades.
